Legendary former Men’s Cricket World Cup winners Aravinda de Silva and Virender Sehwag become inductees in the Class of 2023.• During the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup semi-final at the Wankhede Stadium, the three legends will be honored.Aravinda de Silva, Diana Edulji, and Virender Sehwag are the three new names that will be added to the esteemed list of legends that make up the ICC Hall of Fame after a vote procedure among current Hall of Famers, media representatives, and top executives from FICA and the ICC.The finest international cricket players throughout the sport’s lengthy history are honored by the ICC Hall of Fame, and due to their enduring contributions, de Silva, Edulji, and Sehwag are inducted as numbers 110, 111, and 112, respectively.During his 19-year international career, De Silva was a key player in Sri Lanka’s historic run to triumph in the 1996 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.In addition, Vishwag played a crucial role in India’s 2011 World Cup victory.
